PRINCE MY FERRET

This is my boy prince me and him have been through alot...i got him in december 2004 and since then me and him have become best friends. He is the perfect pet..never bites and prefers attention and if im upset to be honest he trys his hardest to cheer me up...and knowing i have an animal that cares for me as much as i care for him makes me feel very very happy.
Princes Escape
One day in early march my baby escaped. My dad had been in the garden doing some work and the phone rang, so my dad went and answered it and didnt close the door properly and so it blow open.
My dad didnt go back in the garden, so in the period of time between when my dad was in the garden and when he went to where my ferret sleeps about an hour later my boy had escaped.
he must have walked down the path alongside the road without a care just excited being out in the world...well he made it to the bottom of my road where he went to cross over and the cars slowed down for him and one person got out of there car and picked him up and put him into a container with an old coat.
This person then took him to the police who said they couldnt look after an animal like a ferret so prince was handed back to the person who then took him home for the night. The next day he was handed onto Bedfordshire wildlife rescue who kept him for a few days before realising that ferrets didnt go well with injured wildlife, so he was handed onto Feltham ferret rescue in middlesex where he spent another few days before we tracked his footsteps and found out where he was.
we then phoned feltham ferret rescue and picked him up that very day.
He was in perfect health so we gave feltham ferret rescue a donation..and made our way home.
I still think its amazing he found his way over 50 miles to middlesex but all was well so who cares now i have my best freind back!
